How to find a doctorfor hrt (both)

How to Find a Doctor in Your Area
I have been working for some time to set up a pharmacy, saliva testing lab and network of doctors to be able to accomplish the following: 1. To insure that you have correct hormones testing. 2. To insure that your prescriptions are written correctly. 3. To insure that your prescriptions are made with bio-identical hormones. 4. To insure that your prescription are made properly and contains no toxic ingredients. 5. To insure that if the FDA ever makes progesterone, estradiol and DHEA ‘prescription only’ you will have
The pharmacy and saliva testing lab are ready. Now you will need to find a doctor in your town who will use
the results from our lab to write your prescriptions. I have already gone through this process and can tell you
how to do it. It’s not that difficult. It took me about 30 minutes and I made about 8 phone calls.
If you do not have a doctor here is how to find one.
• Look in your phone book under ‘Doctors’ and then ‘General Practitioners’.
• Start calling the offices closest to you and ask them the following questions.
1. Is the doctor a female or is there a female nurse practitioner in the office?
2. Does the doctor require a test before they will write the prescription?
3. If the doctor does require a test can it be a saliva test from the lab of your choice?
4. How much is an office visit?

About each point:

1. It’s always best for females to see a female doctor if possible, but if you can’t find one but can find a male doctor who meets the above qualifications just use him. Now-a-days a lot of male doctors have a female nurse practitioner in the office and you can see them. They can write the prescription and the doctor will side check it. 2. Most doctors will require a test of one type or another before they will write the prescription. Many still use the out-dated blood testing method and you definitely don't want to go to them. If you do you will get the wrong results, and the prescription will be based upon those results. Find one that will accept the results of saliva testing. 3. There are many different labs doing saliva testing with different kits, different results and different ranges. The doctor may insist on using a lab they are familiar with because they have been trained by that lab to read their results. The problem with that is that most of the labs in America are making one or more of the top six mistakes that can be made in saliva testing which makes the results incorrect. Saliva testing errors are not as bad as testing blood for hormones, but you will still get an incorrect prescription based on incorrect saliva testing results. I can send a write-up to the doctor about this if necessary. 4. It’s just a good idea to know what you will have to pay before you make your appointment.
How to write the prescription:
• When you find a doctor ask him/her to write the prescription for a 5% cream. That would be 3000 mg of testosterone in 2 ounces of cream, in the BonVida cream formulation. It’s very important that they write
‘the BonVida cream formulation’ on the prescription. Without it you will get a very different cream, it will
have synthetic testosterone in it, be only 10% effective and will be full of toxic ingredients. • Ask for as many refills as possible. • You will have to go back to the doctor to get another prescription because Testosterone is a controlled
