BöttcherFount S-3007 Fountain Solution Additive for IPA-free printing
BöttcherFount S-3007 is a fountain solution additive for sheet-fed printing and for
continuous form printing, particularly for alcohol-free printing.
For IPA-free printing or IPA reduction 0 - 5%
pH-value 4,9 - 5,5 (depends on hardness of water)
suitable for water hardness of 5 – 15° dH
in case of water hardness <5° dH, please use BöttcherPro Calcit
minimizes build-up on the blanket and on the impression cylinder
minimizes ink build-up on dampening rollers
reduced glazing and deposits on ink rollers
quick drying of the ink on matt coated paper and non-absorbent substrates
high ink density and brilliance, very good scrub resistance of the ink
very good results in combination with BöttcherPro Aqualis dampening rollers
suitable for CTP plates, for UV-inks, and for metal pigment inks
increased conductivity per % input: 220 μS/cm
Before applying BöttcherFount S-3007, the fountain system must be completely emptied and
cleaned thouroughly, preferably with BöttcherPro Hydroclean or BöttcherPro Slimex.
The more the Isopropyl alcohol is reduced, ink feedback and debris will increase and accumulate in
the fount circulation system. Therefore, we recommend the fountain solution to be changed regu-
larly, e. g. every two weeks. Use BöttcherPro Calcit as a rehardener for RO and soft water.
