Depending on the choice of filler: frome some months to some years. Aimed at the shape correction as the result of ageing , extreme sunbathing, injuries, scars or diseases. The fillers smoothen and fill the lines between the eyebrows, nose and cheeks and edges of the lips (nasolabial wrinkles), below the lip edges (marionette wrinkles), upper and lower jaw wrinkles and laughing wrinkles. Fillers effectively fill-up loose cheeks, redesign the chin and tip of the nose or acne-scars. How? An injection with natural agents is administered to the skin. The choice of the filler depends on the requirements of your skin and what we want to achieve (smoothening of small number of wrinkles, filling in the sense of remodelling etc.). The fillers hold 6 to 9 months. What? The hyaluronic acid is one of the body's own substances used as dermal fillers. Such fillers are physiological, thus not carcinogen or teratogenic). They are temporary and safer (in permanent fillers there exist bigger risks of alergy, foreign body granuloma, refusal etc.). FREQUENT QUESTIONS What means injecting of dermal fillers? By the injecting of selected agents a specific part of the face (cheeks, chin, eyebrows) is emphasized, the indentations of the ageing process (nasolabial wrinkles, marionette wrinkles) are filled-up and specific parts of the face like mouth, nose etc. are expanded or redesigned. This noninvasive method has established as the way of the shape correction as a consequence of ageing process, sunbathing, injuries, scars or illnesses. Our beauty station uses natural i.e. the body's own substances which are safe, effective, provide repetitive results, not carcinogen or teratogenic and not too expensive. For the difference to the traditional surgical invasive rejuvenation techniques we tend to apply a noninvasive treatment to achieve optimum results without risk, long recovery period and with lower costs. What is the application of dermal fillers good for? By the dermal fillers we can remove or ease the consequences of the skin ageing process, which reflects in the change of shape of the face and appearance of wrinkles due to secondary reduction of skin fat and dermal collagen. The areas which can be filled-up are the lines between the eyebrows, nose and cheeks and edges of the lips (nasolabial wrinkles), below the lip edges (marionette wrinkles), upper and lower jaw wrinkles and laughing wrinkles. Fillers effectively fill-up loose cheeks, redesign the chin and tip of the nose or acne-scars. The lines in the edges of the eyes are usually not corrected by the fillers, because of a thin skin layer (injecting in that part could cause visible bulges). Those wrinkles can be smoothed by Botox (in general, the fillers are less appropriate for the treatment of larger quantities of wrinkles; for those the facelift or chemical peeling would be more appropriate). What is the hyaluronic acid? It is a substance found in the middle skin layer and having a big attraction to the water (it gives volume to the skin). In the ageing process the hyaluronic acid is being reduced, the same as the quantity of collagen and elastin. The skin is ageing, losing the elasticity, becomes dry and dehydrated. Therefore, the hyaluronic acid can be of a great help. The hyaluronic acid found in the fillers, is not of animal origin; it is the result of bacterial fermentation. It does not cause alergies and is not pathogen, thus no allergological tests are required before the application. What can be achieved by the appliaction of fillers? By injecting the substance under the skin (into the dermis) a new volume is added to the face, lips, wrinkles have been smoothed, the selected facial contoures like cheeks and chin can be emphasized, the signs of ageing process alleviated or congenital anomalies corrected. To which parts the fillers can be applied? The usual spots are: nasolabial line – a wrinkle going from the nose to the edge of the lips lips (volumized, the contour is emphasized) and alleviation of the edges back of the hands, décolleté, face (mesotherapy with the hyaluronic acid) between the eyebrows and forehead, according to the surgeon's opinion also the laughing wrinkles. How does the skin after the treatment look like? Are bruises possible to occur? It can occur either immediately after or even within a day after the treatment. Other possbile side effects are redness, sensibility and biting feeling. The injecting spots can swell, but can be corrected by make-up (they vanish within a week). After the treatment you are not allowed to be exposed to extreme temperatures. Which are possbile complications? How can they be prevented or eased? The compliactions are rare; possible are bruises and bleeding. Before the treatment stop taking the pain killers (aspirin) and other medicine against blood coagulation, antirheumatics and E-vitamine. Do not drink alchoholic drinks. Treat the injected spot by cooling pads. A bacterial infection is possible to occur; the skin reddens within 24 to 72 hours and you feel pain. Go to the doctor (surgeon), who will make the analysis and prescribe you an antibiotic medicine. Possbile complications include viral infections (activation of the herpes virus, local analgesia: secondary impermeability of arterioles, which can be remedied by warm pads, massages and nitroglycerine ointments; cystic reactions to the implants and foreign body abscesses. How painful is this? Is the treatment conducted under narcotic? The decision on anaestesia depends on the spot to be treated/injected and the type of a filler. The treated area is possible to prior treat with an anesthetic ointment or local anestesia. The more invasive treatments the local anestesia is combined with sedative pills. The pain can be eased locally by cooling pads. When are the results visible and how long they last? The results are immediately visible and can last from 3 to 12 months depending on the injected area and the type of substance applied. For a long-term effect it is advisable to add a little quantity of a filler after one or two months. Can I go to work the next day? In any case one should bear in mind, that bruises and swellings will occur after the treatment. If we decided on the correction of the lips, then the swelling will vanish after some days and it is something that everyone will notice (unless only the correction of the edge of the lips was compiled). In the case of emphasized cheeks, you can already go to an evening event. The other treatments are somewhere in between, also depending on an individual and his/her reactions. Can i prepare somehow for this treatment? It is recommended that you take in before the treatment at least 1,000 mg of C-vitamine a day and a natural remedy from arnica; during that period no intake of Aspirin (painkillers) is allowed. After the treatment it is good to cool the spots treated by cooling pads and arnica ointment or a lot of honey to prevent bruises (the simple application of margarine will also do the trick).
